A checked example

Our synthetic stereo.mp4 sample is 930,464 bytes with a 10-second, stereo AAC audio track at 48 kHz. The checked 192 kbps MP3 is 240,936 bytes and 10.032 seconds long. These are measured examples, not results generated from your file.

MP3 is lossy, and an MP3 can be larger than its source audio. Your original video is unchanged.

Which files are supported?

One complete, non-fragmented MP4, up to 100 MiB (104,857,600 bytes), with one AAC or Opus audio track no longer than 10 minutes. Mono or stereo audio at 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz is accepted when your browser can decode it. MOV, M4A, URL downloads, multiple audio tracks and protected or damaged files are not supported.

Can every phone convert the largest allowed file?

No. The limits are rejection boundaries, not a guarantee that all devices can convert a file. Complex media or limited browser memory can still cause a failure. Physical iPhone and Android conversion and system saving remain unverified.

Why does the audio duration differ from the video?

A video's picture and audio can have different durations. Conversion checks the audio track and the MP3 output, rather than comparing against the video length. Missing audio is refused instead of offering a partial download.

Can I cancel or leave this page?

You can cancel while checking or converting, then retry or choose another file. Hiding the page or leaving the tool cancels an active task. Background and lock-screen conversion are not supported. Completed results stay available when you open the MP3 in another tab.

How do I save the MP3?

Use Download MP3. If your browser opens audio instead, use Open MP3 and its save or share controls. A download click does not confirm that your device saved the file. Files are not stored in a history, and leaving the tool clears them.

Do my files leave this device?

No media, filename or audio result is uploaded. Optional analytics, feedback you actively send, and an opened payment dialog are separate; see Privacy. Optional analytics use only this exact official hostname and fixed event categories. QA sends no analytics and voluntary QA feedback goes only to the separate test service.

Files stay on this device. No media upload.
